A mother is someone to shelter and guide us,
To love us, whatever we do,
With a warm understanding and infinite patience
And wonderful gentleness, too.
How often a mother means swift reassurance
In soothing our small, childish fears,
How tenderly mothers watch over their children
And treasure them all through the years!
The heart of a mother is full of forgiveness
For any mistake, big or small,
And generous always in helping her family,
A mother can utter a word of compassion
And make all our cares fall away,
She can brighten a home with the sound of her laughter
And make life delightful and gay.
A mother possesses incredible wisdom
And wonderful insight and skill -
In each human heart is that one special corner
Which only a mother can fill! By Katherine Nelson Davis
This picture shows a perfect mother ... gets the camera when she could be sooooo mad....at what we kids do.
My beautiful mother.
MOTHERS ,,,,,
Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
They don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils
Are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors,
Filthy ovens and happy kids.
Doesn't come out of carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what
The vacuum just sucked up...
Helping children experience new things.
And get their answer when a little
Voice says, 'Because I love you best.'
Real Mothers know that a child's growth
Is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mummy to Mum to Mother.....
Cleaning up even with nothing to clean up with ...
Mom made so many wonderful things .. this tent just one example. the other picture I always thought was just a fun picture of Larry and Dale but apparently Larry has dark green paint on his hands and there was green paint everywhere ....I marvel that it isn't on his shirt.
