A Shepard's Tent

This is not our family tent but it reminded me of ours. Ours is pictured below.

Anyway, what it brought to mind was when Jeremy Aldrich and Timothy slept in it one Christmas.  I wish I could find Timothy's version of the events.  It was cold so they had a little fire going in the stove but when they fell asleep the fire got low and they got cold...so they would stuff wood into the stove and then have to get out of the tent to put out the tent fire from the smoke stack getting too hot.  This went on all night.  It is very comical hearing Timothy tell the story.
I know Dad used to tell stories about camping long ago in that tent and it makes me sad that I can't remember any of them right now.
