All the kids and grandkids have had time on the swing...The fastest clothes drying apparatus of the west...
It was very hard to leave our swing at our first Boise house. We hadn't even worn the grass out from under it yet.

Every time we visited Grandpa & Grandma's though the grass was worn down and the kids either asked to be pushed or spent time pushing each other for hours and hours.
It will hold a favored spot in all our lives. The spinning picnic table...
The feet hitting the chicken coop or car port pole...The squeals...
The worn out grass everytime a family returned to visit ... it always grew back.

It is a great contraption Dad and has caused many good memories.
This would be a good thing to ask Dad how he did it...what to watch out for...so that it could be done in the future.....

I think he made one at Karen and Earl's house for their grandkids to enjoy. I didn't see it, but I remember them saying something like that and they did say something that he did different about it.
He actually made one for us in our Boise house too. Unfortuately, it was in concrete, so we couldn't really take it with us when we moved here in 1986.
