Journal Jar - When and where did you buy your first house?

I guess I will start with the first house I lived in instead of the first one we bought....

 It was located in Nampa, Canyon, Idaho next door to my Dad's parents but the main reason Dad and Mom purchased it was because it was located on the farm.  Dad farmed with Granddad for many years and then purchased the farm for himself.

 Over time Granddad and Grandma's house was moved up the street and Dad built on to the house as the family got larger....





This was what the home place looked like when my Grandparents planted the pine trees ... It ended up being the home for the DeCoursey's for just under 100 years before it was sold.

 Now this was the first house Gerald and I bought, we moved in on Phillip's due date.  There were a couple of  reasons to why we bought it.  One we could afford it, also it had a half acre yard to garden and play in.

It was 9953 Bigwood Dr Boise Idaho address wise but it was Meridian Idaho more or less.  It was a good home for us until we had to move for work: to Tucson, Arizona.  Huge move.
