Sequoia

California does have some amazing things to see.  I still have not been to the redwoods or Yosemite.  They just aren't on the way to anywhere.  Even the Sequoia park is not on the way to anywhere.  Above is a picture from my childhood.  I believe that is Dave there by General Sherman.  Lecia and I went in 2004 when Timothy came back from his mission and wanted to go see his mission president's return in Calif. so while he did mission reunion stuff Lecia and I drove up to the Sequoia's.

 Amazing trees just because they are huge....they really aren't that beautiful.
